This Privacy Policy explains how Wellmmart collects, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the Wellmmart mobile application and website to browse and purchase wellness, grocery, restaurant food, supplement, and natural products from local sellers. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to being transparent about how the app operates.

1. Introduction

Wellmmart is a local e-commerce marketplace that connects customers with nearby shops and home hubs selling wellness and healthy products, groceries, restaurant food, supplements, and natural everyday essentials. You can browse products, place orders, pay online or by Cash on Delivery, and have products delivered from your local market to your doorstep.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use the application, the following information may be processed:

Name, phone number, and email address provided when you sign in or place an order.
Delivery address and location details you provide for orders.
Order history, cart items, and wishlist information.
Payment status information provided by our payment partners (we never store your card, UPI PIN, or bank details).
Application preferences and settings.
Customer support conversations, including WhatsApp messages you choose to send us.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.

3. Device Permissions

Permission	Purpose
INTERNET	Required to browse products, place orders, process payments, and sync your account with our servers.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Used to detect your internet connection so the app can work reliably on mobile networks and Wi-Fi.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION	Used only when you choose "Pin my location" during checkout, to set your delivery location accurately on the map. Location is never tracked in the background and is not used for advertising.
RECORD_AUDIO (if requested)	Used only if you choose voice search while searching for products. Audio is processed by the device's speech recognition and is not stored by us.

4. Payments

Online payments are securely processed by Razorpay and UPI payment apps installed on your device. Cash on Delivery is also available for eligible products and locations.

We never receive or store your payment card details, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. Payment information is handled entirely by Razorpay according to Razorpay's Privacy Policy, and by Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or other UPI apps according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Storage

Your account, order, and product information is stored securely using Google Firebase services. Some information, such as your cart, wishlist, and preferences, may also be stored locally on your device so the app works faster.

Order information (name, phone, delivery address, items, and payment status) is shared only with the local sellers and delivery personnel required to fulfil your order.

6. Third-Party Services

The application uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase – account sign-in, database, and app infrastructure.
Razorpay – secure online payment processing.
UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) – for UPI payments you choose.
Google Maps – to display seller locations and directions.
WhatsApp – only when you choose to contact a seller or place an order via WhatsApp.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

7. Children's Privacy

The application is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental or guardian consent. Purchases should be made by adults. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the application, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by the application, including encrypted connections and restricted database access.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may:

Access and update your profile information at any time.
Request deletion of your account and personal information by contacting us.
Clear locally stored application data through your device settings.
Uninstall the application whenever you choose.
Contact us regarding any privacy-related questions.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect improvements, legal requirements, or new features.
